The Play Connection

At The Play Connection, we help parents and children build stronger joy-filled connections! Our approach is centered around play-based and child-led therapy, recognizing that children learn best when they are engaged and having fun. We understand that each child is unique, with their own strengths, challenges, and interests, so we tailor our therapy sessions to meet their individual needs and preferences. Parent involvement is not just encouraged, it's valued and integral to our approach. We believe that parents are the experts on their children, and we work collaboratively with them to develop personalized therapy plans and provide strategies for supporting their child's communication development at home. In addition to individual therapy sessions to directly target speech sound disorders, language delays and AAC use, we offer fun and interactive parent/child play groups. These groups provide a supportive environment for families to connect with each other while engaging in activities that promote language and communication skills. Through music, movement, stories, and play, children have the opportunity to practice their communication skills in a natural and enjoyable setting. We are neuro-diversity affirming therapists who recognize and celebrate the unique strengths and abilities of each child.
